Halfway between Edinburgh and Glasgow, Falkirk rests in the industrial heartland of Scotland, a place embodied with grit and determination. The town’s role is echoed in its surviving historic buildings and local folklore. It is a unique place with a strong sense of belonging and community identity.

The historic site of the distillery is bounded by the Antonine Wall, which is a Scheduled Ancient Monument and World Heritage Site. To the west of the distillery stands proud Mumrills Fort, a place where it is argued that the Battle of Falkirk took place. The epic build of the distillery complements these invaluable assets and, through time, will become recognised as a place of exceptional Lowland Malt.
The distillation process is a fine marriage between the old and the new; our two impressive Speyside copper stills and 4.5 tonne traditional copper mash tun have been married with our 34,000 litre fermentators, spirit safe and state-of-the-art Buhler Malt intake. A heady mixture of both geography and age, with the finest raw ingredients kindly nurtured to produce the most ‘exceptional new make spirit’.
